Is this the thing that means you get alerted by those messages to 'game x' players? There are a few games I've tried out that I will never play again, but occasionally get messages about updates to the versions on the site. I'd love to stop the messages for games I don't care about at least

You can quit the group "game x player" and I think you will stop received the group message. When you have a message, just clik on "game x players" and you have the option to quit the group.

Maybe not delete, but hide them is a option?
