Today I tested with a couple of friends, everything was working just fine.
An hour later, we tried to execute the tournament... didn't start.
I thought about the difference between the real tournament and my test: I wasn't participating. I joined and it started.
The other difference was that it was a tournament with 2 players per table and there was 10 players. When I joined, we were 11 so in each round someone couldn't play and was assigned an automatic point.
These were the two difference between the tournament not starting and the tournament starting: organizer in/ out and everybody assigned to a table / someone being left out.

I am still afraid that this issue could affect us again, there have been so many Carcassonne tournaments... the bug that happened on Sunday has had many people affected.
BGA still didn't reply to us about it.
