All online boardgaming websites are concerned. Thus we can protect you against spammers (yes there are :) ).

So just to be completely clear, it’s against TOS to even mention the name of another gaming website, even one that is 100% legal? And you’re going to go through and edit every comment on this board that does so?

That is so unbelievably off-putting that it has me seriously considering canceling my premium membership.

It does seem extremely restrictive, but, whether or not you read it, you and I both agreed to that when we joined, premium or free:

A. Guarantees of the Internet User
By accessing the BGA Sites, the Internet User declares, guarantees and undertakes:
...
• not to promote or publish Content related to ... any other online gaming websites subject to the provisions of freedom of expression"

although I I do not see any reference to a definition of "freedom of expression", so it's completely unclear what IS allowed...

From what has been said before, they fear that advertisements of other platforms will draw players to those platforms
Which is a ridiculous assumption. The only reason I'm on BGA in the first place is because I learned about it on another gaming site. (Where I also continue to play games.) The way to keep one's customers is to keep them happy, not to keep them from talking about other businesses. Being censored does not make me happy.

How convenient it is... very like Microsoft "bugs" that force you to update.
and soooooo complicated to fix, remove something from a list, that it takes more than 3 days...

nice conspiracy theory... so... after paying out bug bounties to hackers... Microsoft then fakes "bugs" to get you to update, almost always at no cost... sounds like a total scam...

(I hope bga will not remove the link and say it's an illegal website...)

Well, no one should see this message in the meantime since it's not allowed to post that kind of link anyway....
