The expansion definitely increases the variability in viable strategies, creating an interesting dynamic.

Not good news, but at least news:
sadly, we don’t yet have any concrete plans regarding the expansion on BGA. We do have a WIP version of it that we used for playtesting, but it was very rough and improvised and would not work as an official implementation.There are multiple routes available, but we have to release the Codenames App before making the final decision. We will post about any news on this.

Expansion would be cool, I have it in real.

Would love to see the expansion implemented into BGA because I cannot see myself playing without it IRL. I own it and love it so much. The red staff, the player powers, the research tracks ... it's all great!

Yes, I bought the expansion as well and haven't gotten enough time to play it. Our boardgame group has so many games and people are constantly getting new ones that its hard playing the same game twice. What I found of the new expansion I think its pretty good. Would like to see the BGA release.
