The Asian Railroads variant is terrific! The player boards are full of spaces granting advancements, victory points or even engines and you can chain some really powerful combos.

As someone who played a lot RR games, I would not mind the games to be merged even if I were to lose all the achievements. I think if the games are merged that would likely bring more more people to RR and make RR more popular. I think that's more important. We could have a vote or a poll on merging the games at some point.

My only problem is with the name of the game: people know Russian Railroads, but I don't know how many know and will know about Ultimate Railroads.
