I too would like to request alpha access. I have played several of the solo scenarios and played face to face as well as on Vassal and would like the opportunity to compare experiences. Thanks.

What's the metric for game progress / game completion? If I want to concede a game rather than just abandoning it, what needs to have happened first?

Actually, there is now metric because I have no idea of how to create one.

I guess for the purposes of BGA, the importance of "progress" is to make sure players don't cheat by creating fake accounts, playing against themselves for 1 turn, then conceding the game, giving ELO points to their real account by "winning" lots of very fast matches against themselves.

So I assume it could be anything that takes a reasonable amount of time to perform, enough to make it inconvenient to try to do, eg, 100 times over against yourself.

Anyway... thanks so much for all your work implementing the game, it's really excellent.

If it is possible, I would love access to the alpha as well. Would that let me invite my friends to a game of it as well, or would they need access as well?
