Why did BGA change my name?

BGA changed my name I believe because one person didn't like it.

Yes, I agree, someone didn't like your name and reported you. I don't think BGA moderators coincidentally stumbled upon your account. But fact is, it's a slogan that should be avoided, even if you claim it's not political involved, there is no way to prove it.
I can't change my name to "Make America Great Again" and claim it has nothing to do with Donald Trump, but rather has an alternative meaning. or any other political slogan. People will always associate it with a certain meaning, a certain faction. Your username should be neutral, because as you noticed, someone took offense to it.

There is still no reason to change your name back to Let's Go Brandon.

I think it is how voriki said: if you had the account made before the birth of the slogan, it would be ok and not renamed.
Since you created the account with that username, after the appearance of the slogan... You have to respect the fact the site associates it with the slogan, and that it doesn't want any Political stuff involved.

There are a lot of examples like this one, even words (for instance "gay", which only meant "happy" until somewhere around 20th. century, and some of the urban slangs).

This is a false statement. You received notification of the username change and were required to click to acknowledge you had seen the Moderation in order to use your account. If you have any issues with the decisions made by BGA Moderators, this is not the proper way to address them. Your Moderation report contains the contact information necessary to reach out to us directly in the appropriate manner. The Forums are not the proper place for discussing Moderation reports or politics.

You are free to contact our support to change your username to something you prefer. However, the original username will not be returned for reasons others in this thread have detailed well enough.
