In real life you can say to your opponent: "Dude, I forgot to use an ability of this card, may I do this right now?"
And answer usually is: "Sure"

Seasons is one of the games that requires a lot of rigor in the accounts of crystals and other variable elements of the game. It is indeed very easy to make mistakes in these various accounts, and correcting these mistakes after the fact is a challenge.
