It's not intentional, but I can't fight it. As it's a new option, turnament didn't set a value for this option. And as we set it activated by default so everyone can test it even if theydon't know how to use the settings preferences, it activates by default of new games of tournaments too.
It's something I can't control as a dev, I'll check if BGA admins can do something about it. But as added options are often disabled by default, it might not be a very important case for them.
