I strongly hope this works (or at least there's a way to remove unwanted games), but it doesn't. Just tried it and the game still appear in my profile, lobby, tournament search and game specific subforum.
So please make it possible, else I am reluctant to try new games because I'll be stuck with them forever.
Can confirm, same for me.
I am reluctant to try new games regardless of the forum aspect, but it helps me to stay active on the games that I do follow closely. Example The King of Tokyo and Bang subforum have my close attention, but as other game forums may have more recent activtity, the forums I want to keep an eye on sinks lower and lower.
That is certainly spoken from a POV of someone only playing a handful of games. When you play a lot of different games (playing some of them a lot and some of them only a couple of times), then you have very different needs. There's definitely no need to have the main page full of messages from "XY-players" groups for 200+ different games. I wish those wouldn't be there in the first place and quitting 200+ of those groups has cost me some effort. Also I don't see a way to undo this because now I cannot see the groups anymore. I don't want to undo it for main-page-group-messages anyway. But if it means you'd hide the forum-boards from my view, I might want to.

So I think the best thing would be, if these different things were configurable individually.
