Board Game Arena

Wingspan is my favorite game to play on BGA, but I agree with this: I really hope the expansions will come available here as well. The expansions bring more variation to the game especially when it comes to the green goals. Now you basically end up with goals that either require the most eggs or the most birds in one habitat. It gets kinda boring over time. I really hope Stonemaier will decide to bring them here too.

BTW: I own Wingspan and all the expansions. I play Wingspan here because whenever I have 30 min. available in my busy life with 3 kids and a busy job I don't want to put all those cards in the table and just have a quickie

These really elevate the game to the highest level

Really hope for Oceania here, it massively improves wingspan. I almost gave in and got it on the app but £9 for an expansion is absolutely ridiculous.

I've now played Oceania on the app and it's alright. I just really don't like overproduced apps.

Why do you need to scroll through 3 screens of graphics to see your entire board? I don't want to pay £20 for the 'full' app to justify fancy flapping distractions. It needs an elegant option where you remove all the pointless fluff and basically... Turns into BGA.

I'd rather it was on here but I'm guessing they have some non compete agreement for expansions. Shame really.

Unless his position has changed, Jamey has stated it would never come to BGA. It seems to purely be a business decision regarding canabalization concerns for their other products.

Unfortunately, the digital apps are typically all visual flash, and terrible online multi-player mechanics though. I much prefer the community and gameplay on BGA to the clunky steam version.

I hope BGA comes up with a way to contribute to developers for this type of content in the future. Similar to paying for premium games, I have to think many of us would pay something for access to expansions for games on here. For certain games it makes it an entirely different game too (like Wingspan).

Hopefully in the future someone comes up with a way to meet in the middle, the demand is surely there!
