Every fast turn based game says when you're expected to play at that table, it's a 12 hour portion of the day. When I say "wrong time zone", I'm referring to people whose regular waking hours overlap poorly with that 12 hour period.WiAiC wrote: ↑27 March 2023, 04:30 What I don't get is, which timezone is it referring to?
Assuming the server or the base in France... Paris? 'cause all the summer/winter gifts are following Paris time.... but nope.
My timezone? Nope, not at all, that's why I was kicked out many times, including tournaments, and has lost many ELO that I've took so many effort to earn.
.... so which or who's timezone? I really don't know. So, I don't really do fast turn-based now, and lack of interest in normal turn-based too, too slow.
On each fast turn based table, it displays the times that table is expected to play. It will always show you those times in _your_ time zone. You can verify this is right by seeing when the timer starts or stops running for people at the start or end of the day - you'll see a moon icon (for night) when the clocks stop running. If you're seeing times displayed in a time zone that's not yours, that likely means your computer or phone's time zone isn't set right.
