It was not a win, it was not a loss, it was a tie.
Many games say that in case of a tie "the players share the victory" or something similar. But for BGA, that's only the case in (some) team games, otherwise a tie is never counted as a victory for ELO or win percentage purposes. You could say that "sharing" a victory is not a full victory

Exact-tie breaker...Nothing a roll of a die can't fix. Beats skewing the game stats.

What's wrong with a tie or draw?
If one has fought hard to tie the match on both medals and figures why should one lose on a random die roll?
A draw is an honourable result, nothing to be ashamed of.

I totally agree ! We do not always need to break a tie.
A perfect tie is a great ending for a game. Especially for M44 in my mind. Because it often means that the second round was very tense.

A tie is not a Draw. A tie always indicates [the] winner/loser. A draw would be an exact tie...which is represented as a loss for both players, more than anything else. It would be an added feature if player-stats represented how may Draws they have achieved. Not a big deal really. But Win percentage is always a good indicator when trying to fit a match...being that a player's percentage can drop significantly having a draw (exact tie) result.
