Je vois qu'une intervention divine m'a réintégré dans la liste des combattants en m'affectant un adversaire, Bodega28, que je salue et avec qui je serai prêt à en découdre tous les jours à partir de 20:30.

Si vous voulez faire un match d'entraînement contre Johnny sur DOW, le scénario de la plage de Maki est disponible en ligne en demandant BEW comme au bon vieux temps.
Ça permet aussi d'utiliser une partie des lingots qu'on va perdre de toute façon quand DOW sera fermé.

If you want to do a practice match on DOW against Johnny, you can play the Maki's Beach scenario online by asking BEW like in the good old days.
It also allows us to use some of the bullion that we will lose anyway when DOW is closed.

Waikirikiri vs Bacara- 0730 – 0900 NZDT 1930 -2100 CET

Battle #1 Waikirikiri Axis Bacara- Allies
The dawn was very slow to arrive in the first battle.
In the darkness both players manoeuvred using up their worst cards or positioning units for later attacks. The first 5 turns were played with darkness 1, it wasn’t until the 7th turn that visibility got to 3. Full daylight happened when the medal count was 4-4.

Battle #1 was close fought with Waikirikiri getting the initial advantage 3-1 however with good cards and dice Bacara- fought back to have a slight lead that Bacara- held to the end. Waikirikiri fought hard to maintain his medal count. A close well fought battle.

Battle #1: Waikirikiri 7 medals 33 figures Bacara- 8 medals 32 figures

Battle #2 Waikirikiri Alies Bacara- Axis
Bacara- began with an inspired move with a “Behind Enemy Lines” moving from the Supply Tent hex to attack an armour unit on the beach edge inflicting severe damage (3/4). Great use of a good card.

Unlike the first battle visibility increased to 3 in the second turn and 4 on turn 3 and full visibility on turn 4. Daylight arrived much faster.

It was a battle of attrition for a while with Waikirikiri slowly gaining the lead in the medal count. Waikirikiri was focusing on Bacara-‘s armour. Both players struggled to get hits on their opponent’s armour (and sometimes to get any hits at all).

Waikirikiri continued to accumulate medals slowly building a lead. Eventually the surviving Allied armour units made the difference for Waikirikiri.

Close fought battles which aren’t reflected in the medal counts.
Bacara- rolled 224 dice 20% more than Waikirikiri who rolled 186.

Waikirikiri 15 medals 63 figures Bacara- 13 medals 58 figures.

Bacara- is a fine opponent who I would recommend to everyone.

De bonne cartes dans l'ensemble et surtout une mauvaise main chez me Cormoran au retour avec les Alliés ce qui ne laisse pas bcp de chance de débarquer.

Two fairly tight games throughout, although I made some stupid "Stiff Upper Lip" attacks in lone units in the second game to lose two weak units, which ultimately cost me the game!
