Great idea! Wish there was some kind of daily "what would you do" puzzle like they have for chess in newspapers

It may not be the same as i'm thinking
but i think he just wanted to go for the 5-Blue Diagonal and wanted to prevent the opponent from picking the blue. I played a similar match yesterday where i did the same.
It doesn't make sense, just the mind wanted to do that regardless of the outcome.
