I was thinking about this as well and already planned on eventually sitting down to get to see how high I can score in the 1st edition only.

Awesome work! I was just flying over it and it looks to me on first glance like you found the perfect combinations. I hope you started as last player, so you begin with 4 workers, obviously 3 identical goods tiles at the beginning as well. The 2 ships must be the correct tiles to abandon I believe. Your timing of placing your ships and selling goods looks also very good. Carpenter's Workshop + Church makes a lot of sense to me. I also initially thought starting top left on board 8 + triple mine start with one 4-animal tile must be the strongest opening play, but didn't calculate it through yet. I will let you know once I have also played it through. I think the original rule does make more sense to use in this puzzle, because the 2019 yellow tile 6 tile is just so stupidly designed and against all spirits of the game. But really cool, that you have also done the work on the 2019 edition :D That must have been a lot of hard work.
