What alloran is proposing is just perfecting what is already available. You are telling him to use the automatically decline option but that also is a online function. Are you in support of that or against it?
As for alloran's example tm plays up to 5 ppl. You may want power but only from 1-2 ppl but instead receive it from all. So switching to decline all power doesn't solve the problem and no one would just give away points which is what occurs in his example.
When I organize a tournament I tell everyone to adjust their power settings to make sure the games move at a steady pace. While playing with players from around the world why wait 10hrs for the guy in Australia to click yes accept power?
Doing away with preset power settings in hopes of my opponents making an error and making the game last way longer than it should isn't attractive to me personally.
