Hmmm. That does make sense, although I'd also say games languishing in beta means they're probably not being played either.
The number of tables and the release schedule do not have a direct correlation between them.

Sorry, do you mean the decision on which games to move out of beta each week isn't dependent on how many tables the game generally gets? As I wasn't suggesting that either.
All I was saying was that beta status likely limits how many tables of that game get played - some people will avoid games because they're beta due to the warnings (the warnings are perfectly understandable and necessary, but they would put some players off). Beta games aren't eligible for Arena play as I mentioned. And even though I was actively looking for beta games, I had trouble locating them for a while (I was using the forums, not realising if I scrolled down on the games page, I'd find a section for beta games, as I generally used my own lists).
The comment was that if a game doesn't get an official announcement that it's out of beta, it doesn't get a lot of play. But if it stays in beta for months upon months, I assume it wouldn't be getting much play either. Just an observation - I'm not that bothered, but I wondered if there was a better way to get games out of beta, since people are commenting that even with events like the Summer of Games, the number of games still in beta isn't really going down.

Maybe, but releasing the game silently doesn't change anything in the long run as it doesn't notify the release anywhere except the game page.
Then the publishers will rather wait than passing the release opportunities like this calendar.
I also have done silent release twice due to the publisher request, but now I never do so.

I am not an intensive player on BGA, but I am pretty happy with these releases.
Thanks to all developers : I just tried to translate the rules in french for few games that do not have one yet. Considering the time and energy it took, I am upset by the work developers do to bring those games online and the ease of use that they generally come to.

Upset? You meant "impressed"?
