Re: This game really needs a confirm/undo feature at end of turn

I really prefer not to do that, some people is truly slow in their turn, with undo buttom games will be super long... awful!

If you've never accidentally clicked on something you didn't mean to, you're a very very rare exception.Palehorse66 wrote: ↑25 January 2024, 23:18 I don't understand. Every time you play you need to first select a card to play, select the cards you want to use to pay, they become grey and then select "play card button". Every time you play you can check what you just did before validate, why would you need a confirm button? To confirm a second time?
I also think there is no need for an Undo / Confirmation button in this game. I can't remember a misclick in more than 90 games (all played on a computer), which couldn't already be corrected in the current configuration, as Palehorse66 has described. And I'd prefer not to slow down the game by such a button.Cos- wrote: ↑15 March 2024, 23:37If you've never accidentally clicked on something you didn't mean to, you're a very very rare exception.Palehorse66 wrote: ↑25 January 2024, 23:18 I don't understand. Yes, and I'm very new to the game, and to BGA in general. I'm sure I'm a frustrating gaming partner, but when people keep quitting on me, I can't learn. I did get a premium membership, but it's not going to do me much good if I can't review my cards and think for a few seconds. I get that everyone else is already a shrewd master of the game - awesome. Can I play against an AI then? Or something? So I can get good enough to only need a few seconds to make a move?Cos- wrote: ↑04 September 2023, 18:03I don't understand how that relates. Nearly all games here have a confirm/undo option at the end of the turn, and as far as I can tell it doesn't add anything noticeable to the length of games. I suspect you may be talking about real time games, where the extra couple of seconds it takes for most turns might be annoying you? But that's no match for the frustration and ruined sense of fun that happens when someone knows they didn't make the move they wanted, and messed themselves up - something that would never happen in a real game, where people always let you say "oh oops I meant to do that not that".OzDaddyTee wrote: ↑04 September 2023, 13:50 I personally like that it doesn't. Games can be long enough as they are
