Do you have a link to this tournament ? Championship option should not be available.
Every tournament has it. My own created (for testing, not submit) and the one I joined.
Example:
https://boardgamearena.com/tournament?id=241560 (it's set to Season 1961)

Oh, right, I see. But you can't activate it with the "Mode" option, so it is useless for now.
