I usually don't pay much attention, but have looked on a few occasions. For example, if I want to do something that will earn extra points when I take an advanced tech with the 4 qic action, I might try to work out if I can set up the extra points or need to take the qic action immediately because the automa is likely to cover it.

Eco, then Terra, then AI. Advanced techs from Eco (42VP) and Terra (25VP).

My first attempt was a lot like this, but I made some suboptimal plays (231VP).
My second attempt I took 3 advanced techs (Eco, Nav and Terra), but timing those was awkward (230VP).
The one posted here was my third attempt, improving my first attempt (and learning some things from danuer13's excellent run).

It seems to work well on some solo challenges, but econ and terra seem to be the way to go for this one. Thanks for posting.

First attempt at this, got 5 feds and the 2 advanced fed techs. Following most players example and went Eco then Terra then AI. Made a few suboptimal plays that I think cost me ~6 points. Fun challenge!

Didn't managed to got 28 power and next federation - I might win in that case. Played fast game so it was manageable if I would be more careful.

I enjoyed watching the replays of your games against the higher level automa, including the use of the VP/RL booster and advanced tech. Nigator, starting so far away from the Geodens was unexpected!
