Board Game Arena

Perfect Words seems to be a good game in-person but the BGA implementation is just very difficult UI-wise. Granted, it's not the easiest game to translate into the online space.

1. The first part where you put words is great.
2. The second part where you have to guess is also okay. But one time on a two-player game, the other person DID NOT fill it up AT ALL.
3. The third part where you put x2 and X was not intuitive at all. It said to click on an umbrella, but clicking on the umbrella doesn't work. It took a different person and I more than five minutes to find the table, understand that you had to click the cell you want, and that the cells need not be the same.
4. The fourth part where you had to "check" your work was also unintuitive. You had to click on text that looked like normal text. One other player did not understand that they were things you could click on. Granted, they were on mobile and might have seen something else.

In any case, thanks very much to the volunteer who poured their time into this.
I'm sure it was not an easy feat to get it ready in time for Essen.
I'm sure the real game plays better, I hope the BGA implementation improves.

Quibbles hopefully soon in Belgium too

Hello, we looked for you everywhere at the fair in Essen yesterday, but couldn't find anyone in any of the six halls. That was really disappointing.
