I don't really understand why this month is so quiet, I find it one of the more interesting challenges so far.
By the way, I think we had a 285 or something a few months ago, was it Taklons?

Tried to go without gaia track and PI
Went sci -> nav -> terra -> ai and eco last round
got advanced tech from sci + 48 for science, 3 got tokens round 5.

As promised in previous challenges, I'm creating a 'favourite faction' thread.

Hi, trying to set this up but I cannot work out how to set the seed ?
Have read instructions but there is no seed displayed next to the heading 'Choose Automa Difficulty Level', the seed is only displayed once I'm on the next screen and system will not allow me to change it. Can someone advise please ?

Hi, I'm sorry you are having a problem. If you select 'Automa of the month', that sets the seed automatically and you can't change it. However, if you start the game by selecting Itars in the normal way, you should then see the option to enter a custom seed.

New approach, the opposite to the last one:
PI first turn, no AC at all, gaia1 -> nav2 -> terra5 -> gaia 5
Advanced tech from terra and gaia, 3 fed tokens in round 5
No QIC actions

An interesting result as I rarely play Itars, and when I do I tend to prefer the AC opening, now have some extra food for thoughts

Thanks for sharing your game. Yes, the different strategies used by the players in a solo challenge does show there's often more than one good option.

What about Lantids? I like them but seem them weak. It would be nice to have a challenge with them in December.
