Unfortunately the bga framework doesn't allow us to do what you want. If it was possible, we would have done it
You could look at what's done for Hex. (Hex is a 2-player game, but even with more players, you could make
it be never the person's turn again, though this admittedly would be much harder than just ending the game.)

That's probably bga standard Concede button, but only for 2 players games

No: The bga standard Concede option is still available, but Resign was added
as an action in the game interface itself, so that it works even in tournaments.
(This also has the effect of getting it to work before 50% progression, but if that had been the only issue, then the
change would've been bringing progression to 50% after only a few moves, rather than a change in the interface.)

Despite my join date I'm fairly new to bga as an active player. The only times I have experienced players quitting is in Heat and usually towards the end. Only once have playes then done an exodus.
I understand that the bga framework is limited in this capacity, and that is a shame, as I think the result is that people (like me) will place more joining restrictions on players joining tables which makes this excellent port less accessible to new players, and for those that don't, potentially less attractive to seasoned players.
