4 player Azul has very little to do with skill, while I welcome an idea of a World Championship, I think the game can only be played in a competitive manner when only 2 players are present in a game.

Any updates on how to register for this and also if it will continue to be 4p (would much prefer 2p as it is the arena format and is arguably much more skillful)?

I messaged Plan B games last week, but I still haven't received any info on the Azul tournament

I've never participated in a tournament on BGA before, and am confused about how exactly they work.

My online hours are unconventional to my timezone (11pm-7am EST most often). Beginning to play games starting at 2pm my local time would be impossible for me.

The announcement post says:

Playing hours: 24 hours a day (no playing hours)

However, it seems likely that I will be matched with someone who would make their first move hours before I would come online, and that person would likewise be away for hours after I made my first move. That would eat up both of our 36-hour allotments before we could finish the first round.
