why are you all upset about AI art?
it only bothers me that the 4 is a somewhat mixed-up 2&4 and they didn't crosscheck.

Well, it seems that my longer comment disappeared when submitted, so I'll be more succinct this time. AI "art" needs databases that source their content unethically, without asking actual artists' permission to use their art. AI graphics are full of errors and uncanny valley effects, so it's baffling that people would choose it over commissioning an actual artist/graphic designer. It can't be that expensive or hard to commission someone to make festive numbers. So yes, it's disappointing. Unfortunately, people (and especially companies) using AI is a plague at this point and it's putting honest hard-working and talented artists out of business.

That was the first thing I noticed as well. Disappointing if so :/

I think they have 'pasted' a four over the top. Looks like there is a 2 or a 3 behind it.

I don't really have an opinion, but someone did just whatyou’reasking . Just look 2 posts up.

This year's winter/summer calendar announcements of puppets with weirdly shaped laptops were AI generated art as well. Given the use of Ned Flanders as a kind-of mascot on the news pages and socials, BGA doesn't seem that interested in commissioning original character artwork, or copyright.
