I may be in the minority, but these are not improvements. When the table and cards are cluttered and text is unreadable, this is not "better." It is worse.
I play every single days, several times a day.
These changes will likely change that unless you give players the option to revert to the classic table.

Wow, major indeed! It looked already amazing but this is even more beautiful. Bug fixes are great and things like automaton option and automatic acceptance option for obvious positive outcome actions in TB mode are all greatly appreciated. Cant think of anything I still need or miss on BGA in this game right now. AMAZING! keep it up and thank you so much for all this work. Love BGA!

Not listed in the post, but I appreciate you can now browse the discarded birds/bonus cards now. Pretty major quality of life for remembering what bonus cards aren't in play anymore.
Oh wow, I wouldn't have known that if you hadn't made this comment.
There's nothing visual that indicates the discard decks are now clickable, is there? I wonder if lots of other people who don't read this forum post won't discover this feature for a long time.

I'm also of the mind that this is a regression. The information that is now presented in a cluttered manner was already there--it just required the player to keep track of the game state not dissimilar to the actual board game. I vastly preferred the cleaner looking board before the update.
My vote is to get rid of the recent changes that provide information parity. Make us keep track of it ourselves. I might feel differently if we were playing with all of the expansions, but we're dealing with 170 cards total. Keep it pure.
The only thing that I do like is being able to browse the discarded bonus cards and that's only because they were bordering on too tiny to see before. That and the discard pile is information that players had access to in the physical board game and I agree with its recent inclusion here.

Personally I agree with this, I feel that needing to keep track of things (for example the number of egg spaces available) is an integral part of the game. The interface does also now feel rather cluttered.

You can remove some of them, in your personal settings. Change "auto-activation buttons" from "show" to "hide", and change "current goal ranking" to "tooltip only". Aside from that, the only new "clutter" I can think of is the goal card icons on the bird cards. You could submit a feature request in the suggestions forum to add a setting for that as well, so you could hide the icons.
