You call it different playing styles, but it's just the same as chess or any other game. They are just playing at a higher level than you, seeing patterns or information that we are completely oblivious too that leads to them eliminating verifiers and codes before testing.

You can limit the ELO of players joining when you start a game (requires premium).
I think chess is a useful comparison where players with greater skill/experience will trounce a weaker or average player, probably something like a 90/10 win rate. I can see TM becoming like that where there's a talent imbalance. Then there are games (probably with a luck factor, admittedly) where even an expert player may see a win rate 66/34 and even an average player may still win 1 in 3.

Limiting table access - yes, I mentioned that earlier in the thread, and that's what I've been doing to avoid (at least for now) those players who are seemingly playing a different game to me. Hence the threads on 'cheating' through zero-test wins, where mere mortal players will either see magic or skullduggery as they/we can't conceive how it could be done. And that's why those very good players do owe it to explain their methods from time to time.

There are several other BGA games that don't end when the first person wins (most of the racing games Rallyman, Downforce etc.) allowing the trailing players to continue to the finish line after the winner's turns have ended.

I wonder if that could be a feature for this game too?

Allowing the second player to complete their steps would certainly help with their learning curve and logic-solving.

Hahahaha, I love it!
