Waiting too long for games, BGA needs to attract a larger user base.
Had a look at the various comments you received.
I agree that most probably this is not the best place to play chess, there are many better platforms with less bugs and more focused on chess that you can use for free like *
On the other end I believe that any platform like this needs to con with their user base and keep getting new users over time without losing those that are already engaged. BGA is not really great at this unfortunately.
On last comment towards the users leaving useless comments you received in response. What's the actual point of your comment ling like that ? Are you trying to help defending BGA ? Are you trolling ? What ?

What an absolute nonsense statement. BGA has grown their user base a lot over the last 10 years, the biggest push came during Covid times. User numbers are still much higher than before 2020. Even after the recent raise in fees, I haven't noticed a drop in traffic.

There are really good apps/sites dedicated to chess. We are probably all playing on those. * hit 100 million users in 2022 and they are all playing chess.

Hey mod, you're directly contradicting another mod (my emphasis in bold):

You can mention legal gaming sites without any limitation on chat or on forums. It was true in the past and
will be true in the future.

True in the past, OK
True in the future, OK
I don't see anything in the quote saying it would be true in the present ...

Or true forever. The policy may have changed in the over two years since it was posted. That said, I find it kind of funny how chess sites that in only the most hypertechnical sense of the word "compete" with BGA are banned. But I suppose if they allow references to any sites, then it creates a gray area to refer to sites that are actually competing.
