A bit of reading (in this forum and related) and you should find the rules violation mentioned - basically if you have an effect that provide two travel icons (like sturdy boots, or the assistants upgraded), you should be able (by the rulebook) to use one travel icon for one thing (like travel) and the remaining travel icon for something else (like a quick action, like the assistant that goes boot -> arrowhead). This is known and accepted from the game rulebook but has not been coded and does not work on BGA. Hope this helps.

Oh, I hadn't really noticed (or forgotten, maybe) that there are instant actions that use travel. I know you can only do one main action per turn, and if you pay with a double travel icon when your main action only needs one, the second is wasted - I read that in the rules. Now that you mention that assistant, I see what you mean.

Is there anything else in the game, besides that assistant, that would let you use the second half of a double travel on the same turn?

Is there a bug open for this?

Can you explain what this means?

When using cards or assistants with double travel icons but you only use one. Say you travel to a tier one site using a double icon, you should be able to spend that travel icon on any free action. Come to think of it, might only matter for the boot>arrow assistant. Pretty niche, but it is a rule.

That's exactly what @PleaseAGB1 already explained above, in their comment right after I asked the question. Did you see my followup question (the comment right above yours)? It sounds like you think the answer is that it's just that assistant.
