There is nothing you have said that has anything to do with the topic, I think I understand what you are trying to argue ...
It looks like you don't. Everything Jellby has written is directly relevant to the topic you posted. Arena does not work the way you want because Arena is *designed* *deliberately* not to work that way. The site has a mechanism for you to play the game you want - create standard tables with a restriction on the Elo rating of the participants (which to be explicitly clear is a different Elo to the Elo that is relevant to your position in Arena, which is a season specific Elo).

You can restrict your Arena opponents by league (not by elo). There are reports that it doesn't work, but it should, and if it doesn't it's a bug (or a removed feature), but a site-wide bug, not specific to this game. A word of caution: a zero star bronze does not mean a bad player, it could be a world-class master playing their first Arena game.
For fun, I prefer playing non-Arena games, where I can choose my settings and restrict the player levels much more reasonably. Ultimately, if you don't like the Arena system (the matchmaking, the way the rankings work, the specific settings used for the season, etc.), there's no need to play Arena.
That makes sense if it's a bug, then my point is solid, the arena should have worked the way I wished by able to restrict tables according to ranking.
I talked about sleepers in arena, when a top player participating in his first couple matches. It's unfair to be hit like that, by restricting the table, an arena player can protect himself from sleeper. That just one more reason why ranking restriction need to be fixed and implemented. On the flip side, a lower ranked player often doesn't want to be washed by top players all the time in arena but still wish to participate. By restriction the ranking on a table, the lower ranked will be happily competing within his skill level. it's a win win for everyone.
I was talking about fun in general. I am type A straight up, so fun for me means winning and never lose, it's about crushing it. I love arena because it's supposed to be none apologetic hardcore, so less noobs the better.

You need to read Jellyby's post, apparently it's a bug that the ranking restriction is not being implemented properly

so there is hope it's going to be fixed in the future. It's a site wide problem for all games.

Just to be explicit:
In normal games, you can restrict by elo level (apprentice, expert, etc.).
In Arena games, you can restrict by league (bronze, silver, elite, etc.), not by elo. The possible bug is that even this is reported not to work. I don't know if that's true, because I don't really play Arena. It could be that people reporting it did not apply the settings in the right place, or that it works in the old lobby and not in the new one...

As Jellby points out in the next post it is not. You can limit which league you play with (as I recall its a certain number of leagues above or below your own which prevents you getting all of your league steps wiped when you are climbing the ladder). But the Elo restriction (which works by broad band, Average, Good, Master, etc) is a feature of standard tables and tournaments. Its very deliberate that you cannot use someones global Elo to limit Arena (or even their temporary league Elo). It would be very easy to abuse that in the sort of short-term competition Arena is supposed to be (and red thumbs were already used to achieve that effect so no reason to believe players would refrain).

What do you think we are talking about all these time, that' s exactly what I want.

Personally, I do agree that 'kingmaking" (intentional or unintentional) is frustrating and thus why I tend to prefer 2p over other player counts. I can't think of another game where 'kingmaking' is minimized; perhaps Puerto Rico with Craftsman's Angst option turned on. Hope everyone finds fun games and, who knows, maybe arena season will be 2p for TM and thus eliminate the 'kingmaking' drama.
