Why wouldn't they, isn't that how they make money, also anyone know why fast has been made even slower at 1:24 per turn? Do we need no separation between fast/medium?

I would like to see this as an option just so I can avoid players who want to blitz. Nothing is more annoying than having an opponent constantly spam you to play faster after you have agreed on a certain time limit. I'm not good enough at this game to have all my next moves mapped out in advance. That's why I play on normal mode. Insisting on opponent playing faster than they are comfortable with is poor form and cheapens the game.
