I'm unclear as to what your goal is in naming them in the first place. If they aren't using that account anymore what good does naming them do? It doesn't help users avoid them because red thumbing that account doesn't block the new one Are you just warning people that there is a person doing this? That can be done without using a username (like you did here).

The moderation system is a joke anyway. I encountered an account that had SIXTY reports within a 1-2yr period. I can only see like the last 10 because clicking view more caused an error. I also suppose this doesn’t mean they were actually guilty in all 60 but how can someone have so many reports in such a short period of time and still have an account?

Not sure if this is on topic (probably not), but: what is it with this new "public reports" thing?
Weren't reports and moderations supposed to be private (a.k.a. only the reported and the reporters and the moderators being able to see them)?
Now I think from time to time, I can see a random player with many reports (many reports from others, not me).

Also, since a while ago, I have also noticed that the reports I had made on someone, now I cannot see them in the Reputation area of their profiles (a thing that was possible for a long time).

So I think I am missing something. Could anyone please offer me some light on the changes that occurred, regarding this? Or where I can read about these changes, in case there was an official announcement that I somehow missed.

Thanks in advance.

Their reports show in their reputation area while they have a chat ban. It would be nice if an administrator officially answers the several questions about this topic though. As it stands now, users are getting their information from other users. I’ve also never received an email about reports.

Given how there was a talk about people getting red-thumbed and reported (and even name-and-shamed in the forums) for not honoring a "Friendly Robber" start in Catan that they never agreed to (before it was enabled as an actual rule option on-site), I have no problem seeing that some people can get dozens of unjustified reports.

I've also read the similar thread in the ttr forum about blockers. I'm confused about how someone can report another player for such a thing. I would also like to know what is being done to these people making silly reports.

As for the user I'm referring to they were currently guilty (which is why I could see their reports) and almost all of their history I could see were guilty reports also. I doubt anyone on this site with 60 reports is an upstanding player.
