Board Game Arena

Why are we using first edition for arena this season. Rules for tiles are different. Art is different, and I am not sure I understand the change to go backwards.

First edition is more or less preferred solely because of the changes to yellow tile #6 which is broken enough in 2019 edition that if you get it early enough you're more or less guaranteed a win in the higher ranks. It also simply removes a large part of the complex decision making about the die rolls as you can always simply use your worst roll to pick any piece from the board by trading it for workers and buying (only that by itself makes it more powerful than tile #12, the one that gives ±1 when picking tiles, which is already one of the strongest)

I actually prefer the other nerfs/buffs but this one tile just warps the whole game if it comes up early.

About the graphics you can change that to always be the new version if you want (I actually always force the old edition to be able to see what tiles are from the black market or normal ones)
