I get why why it got added. I have, rarely, selected the wrong card but it would be nice if it worked like other games and had the option of a count-down timer so it would auto-confirm after 3 seconds or whatever. Plus maybe as other suggest, allowing me to turn it off entirely.
Weirdly, the update that brought this change also made it so the cards for Light Speed mode disappear after you click one, and then reappear. This doesn't harm anything, really, but it is visually annoying and I wish it would work like before.

Thank you Jeno73 for taking over the code base, but yes, please make the confirm purchase optional.

I understand the confirmation prompt, and I like it, but can it time out after 5 or 10 seconds? I have been expelled multiple times because I simply forgot to select the NEW 'Confirm' button.

I agree with the sentiment that this is worse than making an occasional mistake. If it could be made optional, great, but it's a bad feature as-is.
Something odd happened after the latest update, too, because my starting 6 cards disappear temporarily when I make a purchase before the game starts.

Agree, such a silly add on especially when you can set up auto for other choices, this new button has opposite effects slowing the game… needs to be removed
Plus sometimes when picking your initial cards there is a glitch that your cards disappear for a second after each choosing….
As the saying goes, don’t fix what isn’t broken… nothing needed to be done

Can it at least be changed to an auto confirm after 2-3 seconds like Splendor?

Thanks for implementing this feature! I would much rather confirm than by the wrong card as I'm scrolling through cards on my phone. I had my first game with it today, and it went fast. It seems like folks are used to it.

Yeah I called it out in my comment above. When doing Light Speed, if you select a card, from your starting options, they
all disappear for until the next game state arrives then they reappear. This causes the view to bounce up and down and makes selecting cards more difficult.
I've confused the (1) row of cards for my initial cards a couple times now only to be like "Aw..." when the selection returns because there's better cards in the initial (1) row.
If I had to guess what's happening, the prior code did Light Speed selection locally, and only sent it to the server to confirm after you pressed the blue button to complete it. Now it's like it's sending each selection off as a separate game state action, which is why the box disappears then reappears.

Could it have a 5 sec timer? That way if you’ve mis-clicked then you can cancel it, but it won’t slow the game so much. I’ve seen this feature on other BGA games…
Yay! That’s better - THANK YOU

I get why people would want it, I would love a toggle for myself like the auto buttons to be able to turn it off. Also, lightening is now glitchy since this change. I'd like it better when you had a possible moment to reset turn after a mis-click. That's gone now.
