If you've somehow found yourself in that situation, you're in a a poor enough state that the 1 vp isn't going to help.

Some of you might not realize that you don't get the 1/3/6/10/15 vp progression for flavor cards during warehouse endgame scoring. Its only 1 vp per flavor card.
I will say more, it might be 2 pts in an extremely rare case, when during the 7th round you've got Shōchū or Grappa (with a useless/without label) containing only yeast and sugar in clay barell, all basic, and you have the metal rickhouse. Thus, if sold, you'll get max 4 coins (+1 basic bottle, +3 the best flavour) and 1 pt for aroma bonus. Since the Metal rickhouse will give extra flavor during the aging phase, this gives you the opportunity to get a guaranteed extra point.

Metal rickhouse changes nothing. It only impacts first aging. You can't sell a spirit that hasn't gone through its first aging.

Looks like I found more significant reason to diversificate last round sell phase: the award where you need to age two spirits simultaneously. This is not to say that this award often remains unbiased by the end of the game, but I almost had such a situation once.

tbh, this last one might have convinced me. I'll look at ways to do this well.

round 7 no longer forces a sale, but triggers a popup if you leave something in your warehouse. It really encourages you to sell, but does not force it.

hmm, i'd like to rescind my comments on this. It virtually is almost impossible that selling is not the better option. it's also annoying to be offered to convert points into money on the final round.

annoying? perhaps. But it's allowed and could help someone win the Wealthy or Pennysaver awards so it has to stay in.
