I'm struggling of new things to say. But Season 19 is over. Here is a final weekly update from me to round everything up.

Final Placement Summary:

Race for the Galaxy: Elite: 84th.
A feast for Odin: Elite: 25th.
Challengers: Gold 3. 855th overall.
Number Drop: Elite: 17th.
War Chest: 9 Silver: 41st overall.
Hadrians Wall: Elite: 10th.
Rolled West: 5 bronze: 4th overall.
Lielow: Elite: 1st.

Race for the Galaxy: [ELO~400] [End: 436].
Elite: 84th.
This is a game I've played a lot in the past, but never played Arena and haven't really played recently.
It was a great experience. 2-player this game is just so smooth and fits in with Arena perfectly.
This is the base game, maybe I need to stretch out and learn some expansions, but realistically I would just like to learn other different games.

A Feast for Odin [ELO~400] [End: 413].
Elite: 25th.
Mixed feelings.
My main down-point is the 2 player format. I just didn't gel with it.
But the game works really well for Arena I feel. And I am not quite good enough a player to get the most out of it.
It seems to require a very high skill level, but maybe that is because the player base is surprisingly small, but equally dedicated and skilled.
I signed up for a 4-player tournament. And met some cool people while playing here. Very friendly, very humble and gracious as a victor and in defeat.
So on the whole, it's not the games fault, just a personal feeling.
Makes me feel like I need to try some more Uwe Rosenberg games, like Glass Road. And probably at-least check out Norwegians.

Challengers [ELO~300] [End: 289].
Gold 3. 855th overall.
Great game. It also works really, really well in Arena.
There are not *that* many games that work so well in high player counts. But this game certainly hits the spot, just like 7-wonders. Quick and fun.
I didn't quite make the Elite league, the nature of the game means guaranteed wins are less likely, meaning a rocky road to get the promotions.
But if this is your game of choice, then you'll have a great time getting there.

Number Drop. [ELO~250] [End: 304].
Elite: 17th.
A fair result by the end. I can't see past the rush for the +10 bonus and steel the win. So it diminishes the opportunities for chasing different strategic plays.
The game still is very enjoyable, but perhaps not that great for a competitive setting.
If you've not tried the game, then it's still highly recommended, very easy rules.

War Chest: [ELO~120] [End: 260].
9 Silver: 41st overall.
Great, great game. Really enjoyed this experience. Can't say enough positive things.
The tension on nearly every move. Good balance between speed/tempo with the 6 points and the straight up maneuvering and battle attrition.
The only negative thing I will say is that the games took a long time for some reason.

Hadrians Wall: [ELO~400] [End: 500].
Elite: 10th.
While I performed really well here. The game has nothing more to offer. It's close to just being a puzzle, and almost the same puzzle each game. The player interaction is virtually nil.
Very unlikely to play it Arena again. But if this is your bag, then Arena is definitely the place to go to play this game, you'd want the highest level of competition to sharpen your skills.

Rolled West [ELO~260] [End: 313].
5 bronze: 4th overall.
This was very tough. 5 bronze sounds pretty bad, but 4th overall sounds good. The competition was fierce. And I think I've got everything thing I can from a strategic interest point-of-view.
So I'm very unlikely never to play this in Arena, and even casually unless to show to a friend perhaps.

Lielow: [ELO~380] [End: 406].
Elite: 1st.
I've not really changed my feelings about the game, if anything it's continued to surprise me.
I will definitely be playing this again casually. Not sure if I try to do it in Arena again.
