The only other places I've seen where links open to different pages from a BGA game are when it goes to an official rulebook (trusis, etc) or informational document (like Daybreak which is a game using eco-friendly motifs and linking to documents on what those motifs are mirroring real life efforts to give learning resources to people who want to learn after being inspired from the game) so external leaderboards are new. I'd also like to see evergreen leaderboards like fastest solves for [each difficulty?] for a set of 12 puzzles on solo mode, though maybe it would encourage cheaters and turn into its own problem.
Yes its possible to have daily challenges managed outside of bga.

Next Station has a daily challenge hosted on.Blue Orange website.

Thank you and well done for your incredible speed. You stole all my elo points ^^

Oh I see for the dailly challenge with 12 differents puzzles from players to players.

The good thing is it avoit cheaters but it could be unfair.

From the beginning I record all the time of each puzzles. When I'll have a lot of data perhaps I can propose puzzles differents but with an equivalent resolution time.

It's a learning experience for both of us. I too lost like 200 ELO dropping from 496 to ~300 in one day - it's always fun to be humbled by people who surprise us with how good they are, which is always a good thing since competition is healthy. :)

Our current #1 is abusing the daily challenge and it needs to end. Elo should not be obtained from the ability to memorize solutions then compete against players who haven't done the same. I have played the #1 a few times just to find that without the daily it's not exactly even nearly the same times and even different results in general. Daily challenge could be limited to friendly mode only or simply just removed entirely.

I don't know why fixed sets of challenges are allowed in competitive multiplayer after all.
It simply doesn't make sense and should be limited to friendly/solo only.

Having the top 1 so much visible while cheating is completely possible look pretty sad, since that encourage further the cheating.

The top 10%, top 25%, top 50% look really nice though.

Why not to have one day of the week where the daily challenge is not the same for all players?

It's unfair because some players could have easier puzzles than other (I can send puzzle with the same average time to avoid this) but we will see which player makes bad time only this day.
