agree, i don´t like the development of this game.
Endbringer wrote: 02 December 2024, 15:36 As someone with over 1000 plays of Rallyman GT and who got the all in pledge of Rallyman dirt, this implementation was very disappointing. Unintuitive and user unfriendly. A lot of bugs as well. I'm disappointed that it was deemed ready for release in its current state.
redbirdrambo wrote: 02 December 2024, 15:43 It is wild to me that this was never transitioned to the GT user interface. This is doomed to fail with most users who have played GT on here.
diegotevez wrote: 02 December 2024, 16:28 lots of bugs :(
Phew, im glad, while definitely unfortunate, that im not the only one here that feels the same.
I love R:GTs engine and implementation, and if we could get the same for R:Dirt i think it would be miles improved where the game stands now.
Bugs will still need to be addressed though.

This is a shambles from the owners if they have chosen to release this whilst full of bugs. Really poor and to be honest with the amount of money coming into this site they should know better

This game is not ready for release. In addition to bugs that put the game in a stuck state and a player can't move at all, the basics are not covered:
  • The log does not contain all the information of what is happening in the game (not only it should be a basic requirement for all BGA games, but it also has an impact on the overall quality of the game: when you can't known what happened, you can't even report bugs). I would claim that having a proper log should be a pre-requisite to start the beta phase, so that the game can be improved.
  • The replayFrom (another feature that all the games on BGA have) is not usable in many cases, as it shows thousands of dialogs. Clearly the developer used the wrong kind of dialogs during the game, and they show up when loading a game. It would be great if a more experienced BGA developer could have a look at it.

Came to complain about the state of implementation.
Very pleased to see I'm not alone in that opinion.
Genuinely a 2/5 if I had to rate it like BGA sometimes prompts you to.

Like, the game is there, basic interaction works. But SO MUCH feels bad, is hard or impossible to track in the log. Keeping track of your damage is difficult to see. Other breaking bugs in the tracker. Quite shocking to see this pushed to release.

Does Ned Flanders from Simpsons have something with this game?
Why is he standing up there at the background in the banner image of the announcement? :?:

This is implemented extremely badly.
It even got the timer bug that doesn't give time on turn end - an absolute NO for any beta game to be released(it can't be caught in alpha)

He's in the banners of all of the announcements. A little Easter egg they put into each graphic.
