Is it possible to skip the 20 second grace period for expelling a player over time?

I see you are referring to Ark Nova, where the issue of long turns and the timer not being enough has been brought up several times, but you are entering fast clock games, you don't have to play fast clock, just play normal or slow clock, in my experience it doesn't make any difference, players don't play any faster in a fast clock game vs a normal clock game, and if Ark Nova has potential for long turns, why not be prepared.
