The title of this game offends me as a Canadian. That said...it's a game, so I'll try it anyway.

Please remove this game and relaunch at a more appropriate time. While this game was designed well before the current political climate in North America, it is highly inappropriate now. Alternately, rebrand the game to be more acceptable and less offensive.

Funny thing is. From my understanding, Imperial Settlers is a similar game by the same designer, and probably would have been a better choice to implement than this one.

Wow. Why did the intro not at least acknowledge how awkward this title will be for so many players. I don't know this game. Is the 51st State within current US borders? If so, stating that could ease some tensions.
If this game is post apocalyptic, couldn't they just rebrand it as Life After Trump?

Genuine Canadian here. Not a fan of Trump's rhetoric, but I don't think this is a healthy reaction

FYI, there's no mention at all of "Canada" in this game, nor "Canada as a 51st state". There are various factions in this game, and I think the "51st state" refers to them. The game creators are also European.

I started playing this game a couple of years ago with friends, and honestly wouldn't have continued playing if "51st state" referred non-USA countries being absorbed by the USA.

I don't really care what the game is about. I think releasing a game with this title under the current political climate is a bad idea. Now whenever people open the BGA app they have to see in big letters the sentence they're trying to avoid on the news.
