1 day for 6 player games? Unless all 6 are in the same timezone, or the game only requires 5 moves per player per game, there's little chance of any games in that tournament finishing. 1-day games are generally only at all feasible for 2 player games where the players can pretty much play it real-time at some point during the day.

I found out yesterday that resigning from a tournament after a round costs 4 karma points, which is the same as missing a game. I had to do it yesterday because one of my Real Time tournaments took longer then expected and playing two real time games at the same time is not possible with a standard (non-premium) account.
