You can change the edition, with that we return to the previous design! To do this, go to the 3 lines at the top right, then change the edition!!

I had not played Kingdomino for a while but when I saw all the rage comments about the new design I just HAD to go see for myself... and honestly, it's not so bad

Sure the look is different, the colours are more saturated - the style reminds me a bit of retro pixel games actually, à la Mario or Stardew Valley - but other than that it's still axactly the same game.

I'm honestly very surprised that so many people think the design is way too busy or that it’s hard to distinguish the terrain types. Personally, I didn’t find it confusing at all.

How do I get back to the original king domino graphics?

When in-game, click on Menu on the top right of the screen (3 lines), then under Preferences -> Edition -> pick Original (2016)

Its very difficult to detect the symbols.
This was a bad design choice.

I have vision impairments, including quite severe colour-blindness. I like the original design as the colours were easy for people such as myself to make out. The new design is not easy to work out. Quite clearly somebody's idea of an "improvement" without bothering to talk to people with visual disabilities.

It is horrible, the original design is so cute, this reskin makes it look like some trashy pay-to-win mobile game
