- Good tutorial, youtube video and PDF rules are all nice, but time-consuming.
- Please do not announce games with an empty "How to Play" section below.
- Scrolling down on the same page is the obvious, first, default place to look for a game summary.
- With an empty "How to Play", the button should read "Play Later", not "Quick Play"...
This is just silly for games like this, how would you explain a game like this without any visual ??
As you said, it's a "summary", it's not enough to know how to play the game, that's literally what tutorials and rulebooks are made for.
If the community want to edit the section and say a few words, sure, why not. But I don't see this as a prerequisite for game launch at all, especially for games like this.

This page comes from BGA wiki, and has been written by BGA players community. Feel free to edit it!
All developers can create that page before release. I personally tried to do it when I developed games since it helps players.
All developpers can also create tutorials but that does not mean that we are good at that. Developping a game and explaining/summarizing rules are two different skills. Same goes for translations.

That is true, but I figure at least I can do my best and then hopefully someone else will improve the summary if needed.
For complex games, maybe it takes so much time developers cannot afford it -- I understand that.

I assume that developers are not making the decisions about when to publish a game. So my appeal is not to developers, but the editors at BGA who make these decisions.
My suggestion was also not that developers should write summaries, but that BGA could offer incentives for community members to write up good summaries in the same way they do for translations and tutorials. E.g. Nekonyancer is brilliant at making tutorials, and other people (including me) translate them to different languages.
The "feel free to edit it" approach would not result in many tutorials or translations, which is why these things are incentivised. I actually do spend quite a bit of time editing and improving the Wiki, but I don't even get credit for it like in the translation tool (not mentioning gift points) and there isn't a tradition for giving kudos to those who make an effort there.
I'm sure the game summaries would be much better if people were rewarded by simply mentioning the efforts and/or giving them gift points for it. Also fixing the markup issues (bullet and numbered lists do not work, for instance) would help.
I totally understand that this has not been prioritized, and raising the issue is the only way to get it on the agenda. No need to feel insulted or say that it's stupid. We all have different learning styles - some prefer visuals, other prefer text.

How do I report an issue with how the final scoring is presented in Hutan? You get points for fulfilling flower/tree/animal objectives but the score card at the end doesn't show how it arrived at that score for each objective. When you click on Final Situation, the score card goes away forever. Or am I missing something? (totally possible...)

I’m intrigued by the little dots on the board. What are they for?

In the physical game they help to distinguish one side of board from another and boards from each other. On BGA you don't think about it because everything is done for you by the system

Scenarios are saying which symbols you should place and where. But again, BGA does that for you
