That would be a huge anti climax to only get chess implemented as the new game. There are plenty of places to play chess around. I'm not saying I wouldn't like to see it here, just not with as big a lead up to it.

I agree. Chess would be a bit of a disappointment. By "one of the games you expected the most", I was thinking one of the games on the "most wanted" list from the front page. 7 Wonders doesn't really fit with the "particularly adapted to the new format" bit because it is a short game that you could probably easily play in 10-15 minutes online. I don't know King of Tokyo or Dungeon Lords and I'm not crazy about Smallworld but if one of the other three - Agricola, The Castles of Burgundy, or Le Havre - became available on here that would be awesome! Those are three of my very favorite games.

It may be "anti-climatic", but chess was the first game that came to my mind when I read the article. Considering that Backgammon, Hearts, Reversi, and Go are already here, it would be no surprise.

I can't see Agricola coming, if only because there are already two other sites (one real-time, one turn-based). I'd love to see a real-time site for Terra Mystica, haven't just learned about the turn-based site. Would really love to see Le Havre or Dungeon Lords, two games that, AFAIK, do not have sites to play.

@teasel: sorry, no link to other boardgaming website here (BGA policy) ;)

But I'm pretty sure this does not exist. On some websites you "can" play realtime if everyone agree but there is no strong time constraints and so on.

Hi,

It is almost ready, but the game is a *big one* and it's quite a long process to test it. It was supposed to be ready in April, so we're late :)

OK, now I'm thinking it's *not* Chess. I'm hoping for LH or DL, personally.
