Yes,but in a face-to-face game,at least one person would have to see the cards,in order to find the player the first card of the correct type.So then the only way that at least one of the players wouldn't get to know what all the other exposed cards were,is if the person searching through the cards wasn't one of the players-in-the game.

Exactly. They wanted to remove that bit of asymetric knowledge that wasn't the primary intent but couldnt be done otherwise except if you have someone else not playing at the table.

Ok,then,good. It is sort of fun turning over cards face-to-face,though :D
