That's a key problem. Ask people in any context if they want more free stuff and they'll universally say yes. The question inherently ignores the cost side of the cost-benefit tradeoff.

That decision can be made by ... the people who’ll actually be building it.
Dev team here. Look at my profile and you can see what I've already adapted for BGA. It's not worth investing the time to completely rewrite all of those contributions.

It's not hypothetical -- I'm an actual developer on BGA and, as cool as this would be to have, it's absolutely not worth me spending hundreds of hours to do it. My development time is better spent fixing bugs, making improvements, and bringing new games to the platform.

It would be great if BGA developers could provide tools for building MVP prototypes of popular games, using either native platform capabilities or game engines. I would be glad to contribute as one of the developers, if given the opportunity and if I pass the selection process. My main specialization is native iOS (Swift), but I’m also open to working with Unity or other technologies if needed.
