What if we accelerate the last turn loading instead of just turning it off?

If if were loading quickly, it would be useful anyway, isn't it?

Loading quickly would be helpful. However, there are some other issues with turn-based replay vs showing current state. In games where one must choose a card to be added to a hand (rather than just played), the choose window stays active or the hand displays an incorrect card (Race for the Galaxy, Sobek, and Tournay do this). Any informative messages that are displayed as banners instead of in the log also show up for the entire game during turn-based (Pylos "You can move a ball up"). If these were fixed as well, I would see little difference between a faster load for last move and just showing the current state. If not, I would like an option just to load the current state.

Well, we just upgrade the function so now it is loading at least 10x faster than before.

Note: it only works for games created from today.

I've just updated the website: now the last turn replay is automatically "off", and there's a button "show my last moves" to show them if you need to.

This works so much better in my opinion. Load times are a lot faster for each game. Thanks for this change.

Except now you'll probably get complaints from those who like having this on. I believe the original suggestion was to make it an option. This way, those who want it on can turn it on, and those who want it off can have it off.

I never had any issue with it being on, and don't have any problems just clicking the thing to stop it from going. As it is now, I have to wait for the game to load (which yes is faster) and then if I want last moves replay (which I do for most games), I have to wait for it to go again. And it's not an option.
