I often tweak .m44 files to make the scenarios available in the database, or my own, playable here. I'll look into writing a guide to modify the files to enable the expected behavior for the rules supported on BGA.
No, but I imagine that fixing this is really really easy, and will prevent a lot of hassle.

So, in this case I would really recommend writing a bug here. Probably less effort than writing the guide or making a fancy picture.

tu as raison jeroenh, je vais soumettre ce bug à BGA. Cela n'est pas ma tasse de thé. Mais , je persiste, une image vaut trois mille mots.

You're right, Jeroenh, I'll submit this bug to BGA. It's not really my cup of tea. But, I maintain, a picture is worth a thousand words.

De plus, maintenant il faut que la communauté M44 vote massivement concernant ce bug.
Furthermore, the M44 community now needs a massive vote regarding this bug.

I do agree in this specific case, but what we're discussing here goes beyond this simple bug. Most rule-specific behavior (as written in the "special rules" section of a scenario PDF") need to be tagged in the .m44 file, and the online editor does not provide a way to do it: minefields, bridge blowing, commissar token, night visibility, blitz, desert rules, USMC gung-ho, etc.
