And why do people downvote my bug report?
Probably because the internet isnt something BGA can fix, anymore than i can expect the car in front of me to fix the traffic.
How can you know that? You don't know if the BGA developers changed anything on December 22. So to me it's very disrespectful to downvote a bug because you "think" BGA can not fix it. Please let the BGA check it out yourself and do not downvote a bug that is seriously disturbing and persistant for some other users. I hope other users will be more friendly and prepared to compensate your behaviour with some upvotes: https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=198081

If the vast majority of players are able to make moves successfully, but a few players are having some sort of issue, this is likely an issue with the user's computer/internet/browser/settings/something.

There isn't anything BGA can do about these isolated cases.

When there is a site-wide server or database issue, BGA is aware of the problem and posts status updates along with statements indicating that any penalties will be rescinded.

Not only that, there is a server status page where the users themselves can see what's happening. If that page is still showing literally tens of thousands of moves per minute being made while at the same time you are having trouble, it indicates it's a you problem, not a server problem. That's the first thing I do when I have issues in a game, after refreshing the browser of course.

There is an other side to this, the users who have reported this bug (and not everyone reports a bug) all reported it started on the same day: December 22nd. So this may be an indication that something changed on BGA's side that did not work out well for these users.

For me everything worked as usual around lunchtime on that day, but a few hours later the bug occurred on all tables (including the ones where I already did a turn around lunchtime). It worries me that BGA has not responded back on my bug report, I doubt if they even read it...

You honestly think bug reports are a kind of trouble ticket, and every one gets a personal response, even the ones with a negative number of votes? None of us is paying enough for that level of service.

Bugs of this nature have been reported intermittently for as long as I can recall.

I have personally never experienced this occurrence except for instances of system-wide server/database/network issues on BGA's side.
